Terms and Conditions

Delivery for all products is up 21 working days. In rare occasion the log cabins can take up to 29 working days. But we do try to ensure as fast as possible delivery.

It is important that you the customer are aware that these products are self-assembly and will be delivered in flat pack form in large panel form.  Instructions for assembly will be provided with the products. Confirmation is required that the customer understands that the delivery to their property will be made to the nearest point that is adjacent to the roadway and clear of obstruction. Carriers will not move products around or through the property The manufacturers carrier will contact the customer by telephone prior to delivery to confirm details and agree a suitable delivery date. All dates quoted for either delivery or contact are approximate. Sheds to last  will not accept any liability for any delay in delivery reasons.

Deliveries are made Monday – Friday

Delivery times are between 7a.m. and 7.p.m. No specific time can be given but we aim to contact within 1hr-30mins of delivery.

Customers must be available to check and sign for the delivery except when have received written confirmation from the customer that the item can be left securely.

Is the address on a made up (Tarmac) road For delivery of large items, is the road at least two lorry widths wide. There must be enough room for a 25ft 7.5ft lorry to be unloaded Can a lorry park within 6 metres (20 ft) of the property Are there cars parked on both sides of the street and if so, would this cause problem for lorry access

If the delivery fails due to the criteria set above not being met, inaccurate customer details or the buyer fails to take delivery (except in circumstances where it is beyond the buyers reasonable control or it is the fault of sheds to last  Products). sheds to last reserve the right to:

Charge reasonable cost of storage and redelivery once the reason for the initial failure has been rectified.

Or resell the goods at market value and charge the original buyer any expenses occurred in the storage or reselling.

Returns Requirement

Customers can request a collection or exchange of a product if the request is received by sheds to last  within 14 days of delivery providing that the product is returned as sold, no assembly or preparation (painting etc) having been attempted and the complete product is in its original packaging. The delivery charge will not be refunded tho.

Sheds to last require written confirmation (fax or email) from the customer for any collection, exchange or order cancellation.

Information

We have made every effort to ensure factual information is given, we do however reserve the right to modify or change our specifications as necessary.

All sizes where quoted are approximate. Products have been measured by frame size including roof overhang unless otherwise stated.

Some specifications may vary due to availability and product improvements. Colour has been applied to some products for photographic purposes only. We take great care in the photographic accuracy of products shown in our website. However, due to variables in the photographic processes, the natural characteristics of wood, colours may not exactly match actual products.

Also it is recommended that you treat your wooden shed with a sprit base wood preserver as soon as possible this will help with the longevity of the shed and make it water tight. Timber is a natural product and can shrink, expand, twist and warp as the seasons change. This is not a classed as a  fault and sheds to last will not except any liability if  this happens.

Also a good reason to paint your shed to help with the seasonal change.

Installations

 We offer an installation service on a wide range of our garden products, including sheds, summerhouses, greenhouses, playhouses and insulated garden rooms. To check if this service is available on a product, please select Installation from the additional options on our product pages.

When you order the Installation. It’s vital to make sure you have a firm, level base ready to install onto. The base must be a concrete, paved or decked construction. It must be firm, square (across the diagonals) and level (by spirit level) and must be no smaller than the size of the chosen products base. The Installation Team require approximately 60cm (2 feet) around the site of the building to allow for safe access.
Is there adequate access to the build site without going through your house, garage or neighbouring property? The Installations Team will require outside access to your garden, to move the building into position. The team will then install your new building as per the instructions.

For installations of Metal and Plastic sheds, our installation team will not secure the building to your base. The Installations Team will make sure to clean up afterwards, leaving you to relax and enjoy your new garden building.

Installation takes place on a separate date to the delivery as we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. You’ll be given a 2 hour delivery slot on the morning of your planned delivery, so you do not have to wait in all day! Our driver will unload your building by hand to the front of your property. We typically book installation for 2/5 days after your delivery date.

We are unable to provide home installation to the postcodes: HS 1-9, KA27-28, KW15-17, GY, JE, ZE, IV IOM, IOM, PA41-78, PH42-44, Channel Islands, Orkney Islands and other offshore islands.
There may be an additional installation charge for the following postcodes: BT, TR, KW, PA20-38, IV40-48, AB, PH22-26, PH30-41, PH50, KA, Eire, IOW

If we are to install the building then there must be provided by the customer a solid level base  either a concrete, slab or it can go on decking but the base must be of a good standard.

If we do not have this we may have to leave the building there and come back with an additional re visit charge

Should the item resell at below the market value, any shortfall will be charged to the original buyer.
